To know who you are.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. -2 Cor.5:17-

To know who you are is equal to having victory in every part of your live.

When you go and look at the live of David you will find out very soon that he knew exactely who he was. He told king Saul that with the power of God he killed lions and bears. He had spread around the news that he didn’t like the way Goliath was standing against Israël. And just like the way God stood next to him when he killed the lion and the bear, David expected God to do the same thing with Goliath.

From human perspective it was a foolish thing to do, but he knew what his God was able to do. He didn’t fear the threats of Goliath. Goliath trusted on his own strenght and size, but David trusted on the strenght and the size of God. Who could go beyond that?

One moment you feel ok, the other moment is seems like your world is crumbling down. But God never changes. He never goes by feeling. He knows who He is and wants us to know who we are in Christ. Once you got Jesus into your live. When you’ve excepted that sacrifice you become a family member of the Almighty God.

Now you need to know, that no matter what, nothing can harm you, although it might seem that way. You are a new creation in Christ and anything telling you something else is not of God. It is some kind of Goliath trying to keep you down and as long you don’t know who you are in Christ, you will be staying in the same place hoping this thing will go away. But once you do know, you will not allow any kind of Goliath come against you and you will rebuke him and kick him.
